Dedicated on October 3, 1926, the Tracy Memorial Building has hosted New London’s public library for a century, but it was also envisioned as a year-round community center, arts and cultural museum, lifelong learning institute and rehearsal space for the Tracy Memorial Chorus and Orchestra. This informal talk looks at the building’s roots and early days through the examination of ten objects found at the library.
