DESCRIPTION:The Tracy Library is pleased to be partnering with Joan Katz to provide a series of Memoir Writing Workshops.  The suggested topic for April is a book you have enjoyed\, but you can focus on any topic.  The workshops offer participants the opportunity for mental stimulation\, understanding family dynamics as well as exploration of their own personal\, social\, and cultural history.  It offers a sense of community\, strengthens self identity and feelings of self worth as well as providing the opportunity to reflect on what has made participants who they are today.  Joan has a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.
