Underappreciated in life but posthumously lionized as a master of the short story, Lucia Berlin refined an affecting alchemy of working class grit leavened by wry humor and moments of unexpected transcendence.

The group meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. New members are welcome. Copies of the book to be discussed can be borrowed at the Circulation Desk in the Library.
