Over the last couple of years, we have been excited to see an interest in roleplaying games at the Tracy Library.  We hope to continue this in 2026, but what this looks like will depend on what our community wants.  The term Session Zero is used in a number of roleplaying games, though other terms such as World Burning are also used.  Basically it is an opportunity for players to determine the ruleset, world, characters and how these all work together.  It is also an opportunity to determine logistics like how many players will be at a table and if everyone will be in one group or if multiple groups will be meeting.  I will present some broad options but much of the initial direction of the campaign will be determined at this session.  Attendance is not mandatory to play in future sessions, but it is the best opportunity to have the greatest impact on what the game looks like.  Open to all, no RSVP required.
